Simone Nordstrom
Design Assistant
Simone has recently joined the Sarah Burrows Design Team, and is endeavouring to jump in to the industry and gain experience for future study in Interior Design. Simone enjoys working with both clients and suppliers to provide the best experience possible.
Previously working in the Finance & Sales industry, she has experience working with people, problem solving & always lending a hand, but she has always had a passion in design and interior finishes.
Simone is extremely ambitious & excited to start this new journey with an amazing team, anything you need help with, Simone is the person to contact!
Sarah Burrows
Director & Head Designer
Prior to starting Sarah Burrows Design in 2014, Sarah gained experience in achieving her Diploma in Interior Design and working in the bathroom industry, following on to Kitchen Design.
She is passionate about spacial design, and has finally achieved her own renovation while working to complete her Diploma in kitchen design. She is empathetic honest and transparent to her clients and always strives to get the best results teaching her team to listen and be willing to learn more and achieve the best results for her clients.
She continually works closely building relationships with builders and architects which contributes to her success and growth in her business.
Kim Ward
Interior & Kitchen Designer
3D Modelling & Drawings
Kim and Sarah connected in 2016, when Kim assisted with some projects, becoming full time in 2018. She started working in the industry in 2008, designing for a local building merchant and within that same year Kim undertook studies at Auckland Unitec in a Diploma In Interior Design, specialising in Kitchen Design. Living and working in Whangarei while studying part time in Auckland was an opportunity Kim jumped at.
From there, Kim worked in the Carpet industry for a year specifying hard and soft flooring options for her many clients. She then worked for a commercial interior design company, modelling up interiors for a myriad of clients & planning. Kim worked for over a year for a Northland joiner, with clients who included group builders and retirement villages.
Kim is in charge of cading up all the spaces in 3D and converting to working drawings for joiners and builders. Her strong design and project management skills allows for each project to run smoothly, building strong relationships along the way.
She has vast technical knowledge with an eye for detail which can be seen in her designs. Kim enjoys working closely with her clients to create interesting spaces that relate to their personality and needs.
